Use Power With Care — It Fades Fast. Use Wisdom Freely — It Grows Forever.

In life, the way we use our strength and knowledge shapes not only our success but also the world around us. Like the natural laws that govern the universe, every action we take has a reaction. But beyond that, the quality of how we act — with power or with wisdom — changes everything.

When power is used without thought, it can break connections and create problems instead of solving them. Yet, when we approach life with curiosity and a willingness to learn, our wisdom grows, and we create better outcomes for ourselves and those around us.

Let's look at two simple examples.

Example 1: The Leader and the Team

Imagine a manager who rules their team with strict commands and pressure. The manager uses their power to get results quickly but without listening to the team’s ideas or concerns. At first, things might seem to go smoothly, but over time, the team becomes disengaged and loses motivation. Mistakes increase, and creativity dries up. The manager’s power shrinks because the team’s spirit is crushed.

Now imagine a different leader who might not have all the answers but encourages the team to share ideas, try new things, and learn from mistakes. This leader uses wisdom by being open and curious. The team grows stronger, solves problems more effectively, and feels valued. Here, wisdom enhances the power of leadership.

Example 2: The Parent and the Child

Consider a parent who demands obedience through strict rules and punishment, without explaining why those rules matter. The child might obey for fear, but this kind of power can damage trust and lead to rebellion or withdrawal. The parent’s control reduces because the connection is weak.

In contrast, a parent who listens patiently, explains the reasons behind rules, and learns from the child’s perspective uses wisdom. Even if the parent doesn’t always have perfect solutions, their willingness to understand builds a strong bond. The parent’s influence grows, nurtured by love and respect.

Final Thought

We are all from the same "Great Source", connected in peace and wisdom. When we use power without wisdom, it diminishes. But when we embrace curiosity and learn continuously, wisdom grows — and with it, our ability to bring peace and good into the world.

Let us choose wisely.
